UKRAINE MISSIONS: You can make a tax-deductible donation to help rebuild the Deaf Bible School. If you would like to donate, make your check payable to “Louisville Baptist Deaf Church” and put “Ukraine” on the Memo line on your check. Our church goal: $1000. Received: $768.

MISSION TRIP: Pastor Tim will be leading a Kentucky Deaf Construction Team to the Ukraine September 13-27, 2010. If you would like to help support this trip, your donation is tax-deductible and needed by August 15. Contact John Lawlor for more information.

KBCD OFFERING: We have the Alex Cummins KBCD Missions Offering in June and July. Our goal is $200. So far we have received $75. Please use our special envelope if you would like to give!

MINISTRY TEAM MEETING: The next ministry team meeting is August 15 at 2:30 PM in room 208.

YARD SALE: We will be having a yard sale Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 8:00 am to noon at Deer Park Baptist Church. We will be raising funds to rebuild the Deaf Bible School in the Ukraine. See Pastor Tim or Pastor Stephen for more info.

KBC 2010: The Kentucky Baptist Convention Annual Meeting (hearing conference) will be held November 15, 2010 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, KY.

KBCD 2011: Kentucky Baptist Conference of the Deaf will be held May 20-22, 2011 at Crossings Camp (formerly Cedarmore Camp and Conference Center) in Bagdad, KY. Check the KBCD website (see sidebar) for more info.

SBCD 2011: Southern Baptist Conference of the Deaf will be July 14-24, 2011 at Toccoa Springs, Georgia. Check the SBCD website (see sidebar) for more info.

SBC 2011: Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting (hearing conference) will be held June 14-15, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Louisville Baptist Deaf Church has a new location!

On June 1, 2010 LBDC moved to a new home at Bethlehem Baptist Church. We are excited about this new chapter in our history and look forward to what God will do!

Our schedule remains the same:

Sunday School: 9:15 am
Worship: 10:30 am
Wednesday Night Bible Study: 6:30 pm

All events meet in Room 208 unless otherwise advertised!

As part of our mission, we will be rebranding our church to reflect God’s call on our church. Stay tuned for exciting, God-honoring changes!

REPAIRS - DPBC is doing repairs and painting the chapel. We now have heat. The boiler was fixed this week. PTL!

Sermon Series: Pastor Tim is preaching a series on “The Bible.”  This week’s message was “Not Forgotten!”  Please come faithfully to worship to see what’s next in the series!

Eastern Kentucky Regional Deaf Ministries Farewell: Saturday, October 3 1:30-6:30 PM at Camp Nathanael in Emmalena, KY for Richie and Keva Noble.

LBDC Revival: October 30-November 1.  Kevin Clark from North Carolina will be our evangelist.  Please let your family and friends know about our revival.  Everyone is invited!  Download LBDC 2009 Revival Brochure for our program and for more information.

MasterLife 2: We have begun studying MasterLife Part 2 on Wednesday evenings at 6:30.  We will have prayer before we start.  Please come early, attend faithfully each week, and grow with us in Christ!

Ministry Team Meeting: Sunday, September 20 at 2:00 PM.  All LBDC officers please attend!

SBCD Offering: We will be taking a special offering for the Southern Baptist Conference of the Deaf in September and October.  Our goal is $200.00.  Please pray and give as the Lord leads you.

This week July 5 Pastor Stephen will begin preaching from Luke 9:57-62.  His message this Sunday: “Take Up Your Cross: Suffering for Christ.”  We will have Lord’s Supper during worship!

We will not have Wednesday night activities until the fall.  We recently finished MasterLife 1 and will take a break until September.

Please pray for our KBCD Missions offering for June and July!  Our giving goal is $200.  This offering supports anyone from a Kentucky Deaf church/ministry who wants to do Deaf missions.
